I setup Healing Books to publish, promote and sell my books. However other concerns have taken up my time and though I have successfully been selling these books since August 2006. I am interested in handing them to a -big- publisher to distribute across the world. If you are in a position to help this goal please contact me.

 

 

Welcome to healing books. My name is Kal, I am really interested in holistic therapies and wanted to learn as much as possible about them. What better way than to write a book about them.

There are hundreds of books out there that are excellent and describe complementary therapies very well. What I wanted to do was differentiate mine from them in a big way.

  • The books are not aimed at practitioners of therapies, they are geared towards the general public. This was my specific target market for these books. They are short, snappy and informative. Providing the reader with a good understanding of the therapy without having to read a 'tome'.

  • For each of the books I wrote, I visited several therapists to get there working perspectives. This allowed me to incorporate plenty of practical know-how into each of the books.

  • I also set up this website with the harmony interactive programme which at one point had over 5000 members. I was absolutely delighted by the experience and tips the members shared with me for inclusion in my books, making them truly unique.

  • My books are short, not due to lack of detail, but because I cut out all the 'fluffy' stuff to give a detailed description of each of the therapies.
